These are the system requirements for product update 416 of Exact Globe Next. Please be informed that third party software products like for example Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and Microsoft SQL Server have their own system requirements which might be different from the system requirements of Exact Globe Next. System Requirements for Exact Lightweight Integration Server (ELIS)

The Exact Lightweight Integration Server (ELIS) solution provides an easy way of deploying and managing the external solutions of Exact Synergy Enterprise and Exact Globe Next, such as Exact Integrator, Exact Word Merge, Exact Shop Floor Control, and others. General requirements

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime 2008 (x86) Redistributable Service Pack 1 is required (this feature is automatically installed if not present in the target server and target client).
Regularly backup the administrations/databases and store the backup on a different media device (not the machine where the Microsoft SQL Server is installed).
Perform regular database maintenance.
Use scalable hardware.

The system requirements are based on the usage of Exact Globe Next only, if other applications are used on the same machines the requirements should be increased.
System requirements for Terminal Servers are based on dedicated Terminal Servers, which means no other applications are running. In case other applications are running as well, the hardware specifications should be increased accordingly.
In case multiple active directories are used and a trust needs to be established between those active directories, Windows Small Business Servers are not supported. A trust needs to be established if data needs to be send across active directories.
Every new service pack is supported automatically by Exact, unless explicitly announced otherwise.
In a network environment a Microsoft Active Directory (domain) needs to be present. The workstations, the SQL Server and the Windows Terminal Server need to be part of the same active directory.
