Product Updates 419, 418, and 417: Error messages related to HMRC IRmark disabled in Exact Globe Next (UK legislation)
To ease the VAT return submission via the Making Tax Digital
(MTD) functionality in Exact Globe Next, the error messages related to the
IRmark software application will no longer be displayed. This change is
implemented as the application will no longer be used for the VAT return
submission.
The error message "The following issues must be checked: JAVA_HOME environment variable must be set up correctly." will no longer be displayed when
selecting or clearing the Enable ECSL XML option under the VAT/ECSL
Online declaration section in Company data settings (accessible via
System ➔ General
➔ Settings
➔ Company
data settings).
The error message "Error loading data file (IRmark)" will also no longer be displayed when printing
the final VAT return reports.
