Creating and modifying employment contracts

Introduction

This page allows you to create and modify the contract of employment.

Roles and rights

To modify the employment contract, function right 145 — View Resource card is required. Users with the HR role have this function right.

Note:

  • For more details on function rights, go to Modules > System > Setup > Security > Function rights.
  • For more details on roles, go to Modules > System > Setup > Security > Roles.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is applicable to product update 267 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I create employment contracts?

  1. Go to Modules > HRM > Reports > People > Search.
  2. Define the search criteria.
  3. Click Show.
  4. Select a person.
  5. Click Contract under the Monitor section.
  6. Click New.
  7. Define the fields.
  8. Click Save.

How do I edit the employment contract?

  1. Go to Modules > HRM > Reports > People > Contracts.
  2. Define the search criteria.
  3. Click Show.
  4. Select a contract.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Make the required changes.
  7. Click Save.

How do I delete the employment contract?

  1. Go to Modules > HRM > Reports > People > Contracts.
  2. Define the search criteria.
  3. Click Show.
  4. Select a contract.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Click Delete. The message “Are you sure that you want to delete this record?” will be displayed.
  7. Click OK.
