Generating MRS

Menu paths

  • To generate MRS manually, go to Modules ? HRM ? Setup ? General ? Settings.
  • To generate MRS automatically, select the Generate: MRS check box under the Schedule section of a division card. For more information, see Creating and modifying divisions.

Introduction

On this page, you can generate Master Resource Schedule (MRS) of people. Before you can generate MRS, you need to set up the working days and public holidays in the HRM general settings at Modules ? HRM ? Setup ? General ? Settings. For more information, see Defining HRM general settings.

In Exact Synergy Enterprise, you have the following options to generate MRS:

  • Generate manually.
  • Generate automatically whenever a person is created and when an individual work schedule is modified. It will also be generated when you are linking work schedule groups to people.

Roles and rights

To generate MRS, function right 106 — View organisations chart reports is required. By default, users with the General manager, HR, or HR assistant role have this function right.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is applicable to product update 259 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I generate MRS?

  1. On the HRM: Generate - MRS page, type or select a division code to generate MRS for people belonging to the selected division.
  2. Define the rest of the fields.
  3. Click Generate.
