PU 502 | 501 | 500 (Globe+) and 424 | 423 (Globe): German XBRL supports new taxonomy 6.5 (German legislation)

At the beginning of the year, all German companies are required to submit their annual balance sheet (e-Bilianz) based on the latest taxonomy version (XBRL format).

In this product update, we have introduced the new taxonomy version 6.5 for e-Bilianz. This version is for businesses with year 2021 and 2022 balance sheet submission in year 2023.

New field

We have added the Action field in the import taxonomy screen.

Once you have selected an option at the Action field, you must select the directory of the taxonomy folder.

Once you click the Import button and the taxonomy has been successfully imported, you can link the taxonomy.

Copy mappings

You can copy all the linked general ledger mappings and GCD information from one version to another version for the same element. You can copy the general ledger mappings for GCD,GAAP, or both to the 2021.04.14 taxonomy based on the selection you selected at Copy.

Linking taxonomy

Once you have successfully imported the taxonomy 6.5, you can view the normal GAAP or MicroBilG version with the GCD in the linking taxonomy menu path. You will see the following taxonomy screen:

You can select the taxonomy (GAAP, MicroBilG, or GCD) and click Open to link the taxonomy to the relevant general ledgers in the link taxonomy screen.

Creating instance documents

It is compulsory to link the BVV of the GCD elements for sending taxonomy 6.5.

Select the new version and click New.

In the taxonomy screen, select the financial year and new version, and click Generate to generate the instance document.
