Copying Vacancy

Introduction

At this page, you can create a new vacancy by copying the details of an existing vacancy.

Menu path

  • Go to HRM/Report/Resources/Vacancies, and then click Copy at the title bar.
  • Go to HRM/Report/Resources/Vacancies, and click Show. Next, click the vacancy ID under the ID column. Click Edit and then click Copy.

Roles & rights

To copy details of a vacancy to a new vacancy, function right 147 – Maintain resource card is required. Users with the HR and HR assistant roles have this function right.

Click this to copy the vacancy entry to a new vacancy.

Close

Click this to exit.

Description

Vacancy

Type or select the vacancy ID that you want to create. By default, the vacancy ID of the vacancy entry that you want to copy from is displayed.

Quantity

Type the number of vacancies that you want to create.

Start date

Type or select the start date of the vacancy.

End date

Type or select the end date of the vacancy.

Fulfillment date

Type or select the fulfillment date of the vacancy. This fulfillment date refers to the date when the search for the applicants begins. This information is mandatory.

Fulfillment end date

Type or select the fulfillment end date of the vacancy. This fulfillment end date refers to the end date of the applicant to fill up the related vacancy created.

Job group

The job group of the vacancy is displayed. This information follows the vacancy entry that you want to copy from and cannot be edited. For more information on job groups, see Overview of Job Groups.

Manager

The manager of the potential candidate is displayed. This information follows the vacancy entry that you want to copy from and cannot be edited.

Division

The division of the vacancy is displayed. This information follows the vacancy entry that you want to copy from and cannot be edited.

Cost center

The cost center of the vacancy is displayed. This information follows the vacancy entry that you want to copy from and cannot be edited.

Contractual location

The contractual location of the vacancy is displayed. This information follows the vacancy entry that you want to copy from and cannot be edited.

FTE

The Full Time Equivalent (FTE) of the potential candidate is displayed. A vacancy that requires a resource who works full-time has an FTE of 1.00 while a vacancy that requires a resource who works part-time will have a pro-rated FTE. This information follows the vacancy entry that you want to copy from and cannot be edited.

Focus

The job focus of the potential candidate is displayed. This information follows the vacancy entry that you want to copy from and cannot be edited.
