You can obtain an overview showing the shares movement involving a shareholder of a division. The overview displays the type of shares purchased and disposed by a shareholder, the dates of shares transactions, the number of shares purchased or disposed on each transaction date, the total of shares held by the shareholder against the total number of shares issued by the division, and the total percentage of shares owned by the shareholder currently.
Go to Financial/Setup/Organization/Divisions or HRM/Setup/Organization/Divisions. Display the overview of divisions in the system and click a division to open the division card. Under the Monitor section, click Shareholders. Next, click the Shareholders tab, and click the total number of shares held by the shareholder under the Total no. of shares held column to obtain the overview of shares movement involving the shareholder. This is to display the overview of shares movement from the perspective of a child division.
Go to Financial/Setup/Organization/Divisions or HRM/Setup/Organization/Divisions. Display the overview of divisions in the system, and click a division to open the division card. Under the Monitor section, click Divisions. Next, click the total number of shares held in a child division under the Total no. of shares held column to view the shares transactions in the selected child division. This is to display the overview of shares movement from the perspective of a shareholder.
All users can obtain the overview of shares movement.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Click this to update the overview. By default, the overview is automatically refreshed whenever a share transaction by the shareholder is recorded.
Click this to exit.
Note: The order of fields in the Criteria and General sections will be different if you are viewing the shares movement from the perspective of a shareholder or a child division. In the first scenario, the above screen will be displayed. In the second scenario, the Criteria section displays the Division field followed by the Shareholder and Type of shares fields in the General section.
This displays the linked shareholder which has purchased or disposed the shares of the division. You can click the division link to view the division card of this shareholder.
This displays the child division which its shares have been purchased or disposed by the shareholder. You can click the division link to view the division card of this child division.
This displays the type of shares involved in the shares transactions by the shareholder. The type of shares depends on the shares type you have selected when you link the shareholder to the division or link the division to the shareholder. For more information, see Linking Shareholders to Division and Linking Divisions to Shareholder.
Note: The Consolidation section is available only if you are displaying the overview of shares movement from the perspective of the shareholder.
This section displays the effective year/period a child division is included in the financial consolidation by the shareholder and the end year/period it is included in the financial consolidation. The Include column with a green check mark indicates that the child division is included in the financial consolidation while the Method column displays the consolidation method used. To edit a consolidation record, click the effective year/period hyperlink under the Effective from: Year / Period column.
Click this to create a new consolidation record for the child division. For more information, see Creating and Maintaining Consolidation Records.
This section displays all the details about the shares transactions involving the shareholder and the child division. The Date column displays the shares transaction dates, and the No. of shares/ disposed column displays the number of shares purchased or disposed by the shareholder on each transaction date. A negative number indicates that the shares were disposed. Meanwhile, the Total no. of shares held and Total no. of shares issued columns display the number of shares held by the shareholder up to the transaction date and the total number of shares issued by the division, respectively. In the Total % owned to date column, the figures indicate the percentage ownership of shares by the shareholder up to the transaction date. You can click the date hyperlinks under the Date column to edit the transaction for the date.
Click this to create a new shares transaction record for the shareholder. For more information, see Registering Shares Purchased or Disposed by Shareholder.
Note: This button is available only if you have function right 62 – Maintain subsidiaries and shareholders. Users with the General manager and Controller roles have this function right.
