You can view all financial double entries that need to be processed in your company.
Financial/Entry/Transactions/Process
To process the selected entry, function right 335 – Allows to approve and/or process financial entries is required. Users with the General manager, Controller and F&A staff roles have this function right.
To delete the selected entry, function right 136 – Allows to create financial entries is required. Users with the General manager, Controller and F&A staff roles have this function right.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Click this to display the result according to the defined criteria.
Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.
Click this to update the financial entries according to the defined criteria.
Click this to clear all defined criteria so that you can start a new search.
Click this to create a new financial entry.
Click this to exit.
Select a division to display the unprocessed entries of the selected division. For more information, see Creating Division.
Type the year that you want the unprocessed entries displayed. For more information, see Creating Financial Year.
At Period, type the month that you want the unprocessed entries displayed. This is represented by the numbers 1-12 for the 12 months of the year.
Select Date or Reporting date to display the unprocessed entries.
Select a status to display the unprocessed entries. You can choose from In process, Rejected - Closed, Rejected - Incomplete, Rejected - Other, or Rejected - All. If you do not select a status, the unprocessed entries for all statuses will be displayed.
Select a type of financial entry to display the unprocessed entries. You can choose from Balance correction, Elimination, Fiscal, Intercompany, Normal, Obligation, Opening balance correction, Void, or Non ledger. If you do not select a type, the unprocessed entries for all types of financial entries will be displayed.
Select a subtype of financial entry to display the unprocessed entries. If you do not select a subtype, the unprocessed entries for all subtypes will be displayed.
Select an origin to display the unprocessed entries. If you do not select an origin, the unprocessed entries for all origins will be displayed. Origin refers to how the entry originated – whether imported, by manual entry or others.
Select the required option to group the results according to your selection. You can choose to group by None, or by Year / Period.
Click this to process the selected entry. The entry will then be available at Financial/Entry/Process: Result. This button is only available if there are results displayed.
Click this to delete the selected entry. This button is only available if there are results displayed.
Click at the title bar to customize the fields or sections. You can add or remove existing criteria based on your preferences by selecting or clearing the relevant check boxes. You can add or remove and also modify the columns by clicking the left, right, Up and Down buttons. Click Save to save the settings, or Close to exit without saving.
