At this screen, you can view the consolidated financial statements of the reporting entities after you have generated the consolidated financial data from the consolidation worksheet.
Note: This functionality is available only if you have the module license YA1040 – Financial consolidation and option 470.
To view the consolidated financial statements, function right 45 – View consolidated statement is required. By default, users with the General manager and Controller roles have this function right.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Click this to display the consolidated financial statements based on the defined criteria.
Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.
Click this to update the consolidated financial statements based on the last defined criteria.
Click this to clear the defined criteria.
Click this to exit.
Type or select the reporting entity to view the consolidated financial statements of the selected reporting entity. This is mandatory.
Select the presentation currency to view the consolidated financial statements in the selected presentation currency. Next, select the rounding factor to view the consolidated financial amounts in the selected factor. There are four options available which include 1.0, 1, 1,000, and 1,000,000.
Select Reporting entity to view the consolidated financial statements based on the reporting entity’s G/L schema or Corporate to view the consolidated financial statements based on the corporate G/L schema. Next, select Balance sheet to view the consolidated balance sheet or P&L to view the consolidated profit & loss statement of the selected reporting entity. If you open the screen from Financial/Reports/Financial consolidation/Consolidated balance sheet, by default, the field will show Balance sheet. If you open the screen from Financial/Reports/Financial consolidation/Consolidated profit and loss statement, by default the field will show P&L.
Note: Leave the field blank to view both the consolidated balance sheet and the profit & loss statement.
Select the check box to view closing entries based on the defined criteria.
Select the check box to view the consolidated G/L account balances per period.
Select the year, and type the financial periods to view the consolidated financial statements for the defined year and periods.
Select the year, and type the financial periods to compare the consolidated financial statements with the consolidated financial statements of the year and periods defined in these fields.
Click at the title bar to customize the fields or sections. You can add or remove existing criteria based on your preferences by selecting or clearing the relevant check boxes. For more information, see Customizing Consolidated Financial Statements.
