Introduction
It is possible to define the access rights delegation settings to enable the delegation profile maintenance to everyone, people with specific function rights, or disable the delegation function entirely.
Roles and rights
To define the delegation settings, function right 186 – Maintain delegation settings is required. Users with the HR role have this function right.

- Click Settings.
- Define the settings.
- Click Save.

Fields
Rights to maintain delegation profile section
Everyone can maintain delegation profile
Select one of the following options:
- Everyone can maintain his/her own delegation profile — Select this option to allow everyone to maintain his delegation profile.
- The delegation profile can only be maintained by the persons in the roles defined for the function "Maintain delegation profile for specific employee (180) — Select this option to allow only people with function right 180 - Maintain delegation profile for specific employee to maintain the delegation profile. Users with the HR role have this function right.
- Delegation is disabled — Select this option to disable the delegation function.
Person specific documents section
Allow to view
Select this check box to allow a user to view Person (Specific) documents (documents with security level 100) of the person whom the user has delegated to. By default, this check box is selected.
Person specific requests section
Allow to view
Select this check box to allow a user to view Person (Specific) requests (requests with security level 100) of the person whom the user has delegated to. By default, this check box is selected.
