Displaying Budget Report

Introduction

You can view the financial or resources budget of all divisions in your company.

Roles & rights

To display the budget, function right 128 – View budget totals by division is required. Users with the General Manager and Controller roles have this function right.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh and then click the required link under the Role column.

Show

Click this to display the result according to the defined criteria.

Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.

Refresh

Click this to update the result according to the defined criteria.

Close

Click this to exit.

Criteria section

Report

Select the type of budget report you want to display. You can choose Financial for financial budgets or Resources for cost center budgets. For more information, see Creating Budget Entries and Creating Cost Center Budgets.

Year

Select the year for which you want the data displayed. For more information, see Creating Financial Year.

Scenario

Select the type of budget scenario to display the data. For more information, see Creating Budget Scenario.

Currency / Factor

The currency displayed is the default currency.

At Factor, select the available currency factor for the system to display the budget based on the factor selected. You can choose from 1, 100, 1000, or 1,000,000. This is available only if Financial is selected at Report.

Click Budget Exchange rates to view the exchange rates for the budget scenario selected. This is available only if Financial is selected at Report.
