Overview of Company Ownership

Introduction

At this screen, you can view all the child divisions which are linked to a reporting entity including those that are included in the financial consolidation process and those that are not. In addition, you can view the percentage of ownership held by the reporting entity in all its child divisions.

Note: This functionality is available only if you have the module license YA1040 – Financial consolidation and option 470.

Financial/Reports/Financial consolidation/Ownership listing
Go to Financial/Reports/Financial consolidation/Consolidation structure. Click Show to display the consolidation structure based on the defined criteria. Next, right-click a reporting entity, and then click Ownership Listing.

Roles & rights

All users can view the ownership list.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh and then click the required link under the Role column.

Click this to refresh the overview of ownership listing based on the last defined criteria.

Click this to exit.

Description

Reporting entity

Type or select the reporting entity which you want to view the company ownership list. If you are accessing the company ownership list from the consolidation structure, this displays the reporting entity which you want to view the company ownership list. For more information, see Overview of Consolidation Structure. However, you can type or select another reporting entity to view the ownership list of this reporting entity and click Refresh to refresh the company ownership list.

Year / Period

Select the financial year, and type the financial period to display the overview of company ownership for the defined year and period. The financial years which are available for selection are the financial years you have generated for the reporting entity in the system.
