Introduction

You can obtain an overview displaying all the XML topics that are available for export (listed under the Download section) and import (listed under the Upload section).

Roles & rights

All users can obtain the overview of XML topics. However, only users with specific function rights can download or upload the XML topics.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.

Button

Save

Click this to save the changes.

Show

Click this to show the overview based on the defined criteria.

Refresh

Click this to update the overview page after you have changed the criteria. You will only see this button after you have clicked Show.

Close

Click this to exit.

Description

The Download and Upload sections are shown after you click Show.

General section

Division

Type or select the division to display whether you have the required function rights to download or upload a specific XML topic for the selected division. This information will be indicated under the Rights column in the Download and Upload sections after you have clicked Show to display the overview of XML topics.

Settings section

XML: Directory

Type the directory to be used for downloading and uploading of XML topics. You can only do this if you have the Administrator role.

Download section

Topic column

This column displays the description of each XML topic that can be downloaded. If you have Function rights 451 - Maintain XML topics definitions, which by default, users with Role 40 - XML Administrator will have, you can configure the general settings of the each XML topic by clicking the topic hyperlink under this column. For more information on configuring the topic, see Configuring an XML Topic.

Function rights column

This column displays the function rights required to perform an XML topic download. Click a function right hyperlink under this column to view the required function right and a list of Roles with the function right. You cannot change the function rights that are required to download the XML topics.

Local - Exact Synergy Enterprise column

This column displays the scenario option for the replication of each XML topic.

• - The topic can be replicated from the back office to Exact Synergy Enterprise and vice versa
• - The topic can be replicated from Exact Synergy Enterprise to the back office system
• - The topic can be replicated from the back office system to Exact Synergy Enterprise 
• - The replication of the topic is disabled

You can configure the replication direction by modifying the XML topic. To do this, click the topic hyperlink under the Topic column. For more information on configuring the topic, see Configuring an XML Topic.

Rights column

Under this column, indicates that you have the required function right to download the XML topic for the selected division while indicates that you do not have the required function right to download the XML topic for the selected division.

Upload section

Topic column

This column displays all the XML topics that can be uploaded.

Function rights

This column displays the function rights required to upload each topic. Click a function right hyperlink under this column to view the required function right and a list of Roles with the function right. You cannot change the function rights that are required to upload the XML topics.

Rights

Under this column, indicates that you have the required function right to upload the XML topic for the selected division while indicates that you do not have the required function right to upload the XML topic for the selected division.
