Overview of sizes

Sizes are used to categorize organizations based on factors, such as the number of employees in that organization, annual revenue, and market capitalization. Sizes are used to group the accounts (for example customers and suppliers) and efficiently manage the accounts.

Roles and rights

All users are able to access this page to view the sizes. However, to create, modify, or delete sizes, function right 119 – Maintain company size is required. By default, users with the Administrator role have this function right.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is applicable to product update 240 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I create sizes?

  1. On the page, click New.
  2. Under the Size section, type a code for the size at Code.
  3. Type a description for the size at Description.
  4. Click Save.

Keep in mind: All fields with the “!” icon is mandatory.

How do I modify sizes?

  1. On the page, click the hyperlink of the corresponding size under the Code column to be modified.
  2. Make the necessary changes to the description.
  3. Click Save.

How do I delete sizes?

  1. On the page, select the check boxes of the corresponding sizes to be deleted.
  2. Click Delete. A message "Confirm: Delete?" will be displayed.
  3. Click OK.
