This document describes a sample scenario of Autoreceive.

Description

This document describes a sample for scenario '3b' in document E-WMS - Autoreceive: receiving a serial number item, where you use the suppliers serial numbers, but want to automatically receive these serial numbers based on a range of serial numbers. Also this is a SKU item, where you generate SKU numbers and print SKU labels in E-WMS.

In the hand terminal settings for receipts (menu System, E-WMS, Scanners, Receipts registration settings), following settings are of importance:

• 'Auto SKU label screen' is enabled (not mandatory, but advisable)
• 'Use external  SKU nrs' is disabled
• 'S/B number generation' is disabled
• 'Autoreceive' is enabled
  

Started a receipt for serial SKU item. After entry of the item code, the SKU label screen appears.	Confirm the receipt location, and the quantity to receive.	Enter or scan the first serial number received, as defined by the supplier	Enter the increment factor to apply in the number range to be generated
Generating the S/B and SKU numbers and the receipt lines ...	... and the receipt is done!

You can view the results in menu WMS, Reports, SKU transaction history.
