Product Update 413: XML Auditfile 3.1 (XAF) improved (Dutch legislation)

In this product update, several enhancements have been introduced in the Audit File feature for the XML Auditfile 3.1 (XAF) format.

The audit file format can be generated via Finance à VAT/Statistics à Audit File.

In the Audit file screen at Action, the Export option is selected by default. At Format, XML Auditfile 3.1 (XAF) is selected by default.

Under the Range section, users have the option to filter the records to be reported in the audit file by Date or Reporting date. The date range can be defined. If All is selected, all records from the selected financial year will be reported.

Under the Criteria section, the following options are available for selection to be included in the audit file: Opening balance, Unprocessed, Closing entries, Fiscal, Zero balances, and Zero transactions.

Under the Export file section, the Split check box has been added. Previously, the generated audit files were split according to the file size, when the file sizes exceeded the maximum size of 30MB. With this new enhancement, users can decide if they wish to split or generate a single audit file. By default, this check box is enabled.
