Release 372: New Classify Special Depreciation for Germany

In Germany , several laws were changed. One of these laws is to have additional status in the report and an adjustment to the fixed assets. Previously, Globe was not able to differentiate between cumulative depreciation and special depreciation entries made via general journal when General Ledger (G/L) definition for cumulative depreciation Balance Sheet (B/S) and special depreciation B/S are the same.

Go to menu path Assets/Entries/Opening Balance , 2 additional buttons are added as follow:



Select an Asset group and click on Classify special depreciation button. Classify Special Depreciation screen prompts and all  transactions belong to the selected Asset group which has NOT been classified as special depreciation will be listed in the browser as follow.



In Classify Special Depreciation screen, u ser is allow to select multiple transactions at a time. Clicking on Select button will classify the selected transactions as special depreciation transaction. Once classified, these transactions will disappear from the Classify Special Depreciation result list.



Clicking on Unclassified special depreciation button will prompt the Unclassified Special Depreciation screen. All transactions belongs to the selected Asset group which had been classified as special depreciation will be listed in the browser as follow.



In Unclassified Special Depreciation screen, user is allow to select multiple transactions at a time. Clicking on Select button will unclassified the selected transactions. Once unclassified, these transactions will disappear from the Unclassified Special depreciation result list.
