Product Update 413: eCDF introduced for VAT and EU sales list (Luxembourg legislation)

As of product update 413, a new XML file format called eCDF (Plateforme électronique de Collecte des Données Financières) has been made available for selection for reports from financial year 2015 and onwards. Previously, the XML file for VAT and the EU sales list can only be exported in the eTVA format.

This new format is available for selection via the following menu paths:

• Finance à VAT/Statistics à VAT à Value added tax
• Finance à VAT/Statistics à VAT à EU Sales List

VAT screen

In the Value added tax screen, a new option called eCDF has been added in the XML section. This option is only available when the financial year selected at the Financial year field is 2015 or onwards.

In addition, a new field called RCS No. has been inserted in the section. The RCS (Registre de Commerce et des Sociétés) number refers to the registration number designated to companies involved in trade. The field allows a maximum length of seven characters and is not a mandatory field.

When the eTVA option is selected as the XML file format, the Authentication code field will be displayed. If the eCDF option is selected, the Interface ID field will be displayed.

Note: The enhancement in the Value added tax screen is applicable for the Trial and Final types of returns. It is also applicable for monthly or quarterly returns.

EU sales list screen

Similar option and fields have been added in the EU sales list screen. The eCDF option is available for selection for the financial year 2015 or onwards, and the RCS No. field can be defined in the XML section. When the eTVA option is selected as the XML file format, the Authentication code field will be displayed. If the eCDF option is selected, the Interface ID field will be displayed.

Note: The enhancement in the EU sales list screen is applicable for monthly and quarterly returns.
