Product Updates 422, 421, and 420: MT940 file for ABN AMRO bank includes “BNKN” (Dutch legislation)
In this product update, we have enhanced the MT940 file format with the structured Tag 86 specifically for the ABN AMRO bank.
When you import the MT940 bank statement with the structured Tag 86 through Cash flow > Entries > Import, the system will recognise the keyword “BNKN” for automated cash allocation. This improvement allows the system to map transactions with “BNKN” to the offset bank account for automated cash allocation.
