PU 503 | 502 (Globe+): Inclusion of ERiC 38.1.6.0 in System submenu (German legislation)
With this update, the latest version of the third party tool, Elster Rich Client (ERiC) Development Toolkit, is made available for use with Exact Globe+. This tool is used to submit electronic reporting as required by the authorities.
To use ERiC, you must first install it. We have embedded this into the Exact Globe+ interface. To install ERiC, go to the new menu path .

As a prerequisite, you must already have the following installed before you install ERiC:
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable (x86) – 9.0.30729.4148
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86) – 12.0.30501.0
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x86) – 14.34.31931
When you access the menu path, the ERiC installation will begin. If the system detects that you already have an older version of ERiC installed, you will be asked if you want to proceed with the upgrade. During the installation, the proper directories and setup environment variables will automatically be created. Previously, you had to manually specify the values for the variables ERIC_DATA_HOME, ERIC_LOG_HOME and Path.
